Education

Although direct advocacy is and remains the focus of our program, we recognize the importance of a well informed public and knowledgeable youth for preventing sexual violence in the community. Providing accurate information about sexual violence, sexuality, and safety is by far the best way to promote awareness and prevention. The Sexual Assault Program offers various youth and community educational sessions that can be tailored to fit the needs of your classroom, workplace, organization, or gathering. Popular programs include (but are not limited to):

  • Now Matters Later... Think B4 U Send
  • Bridges for Teens
  • Empower Me
  • Talking about Touches with Peggy Porcupine
